Bingham Crossing – Summer 2023 Update

We are excited to share that after a very detailed and collaborative approval process with Rocky View County, Costco Wholesale is planning on opening a new location on the Bingham Crossing lands. As part of the infrastructure work that was completed last year, the team is now poised to restart construction this coming Spring 2024.

The team at Bingham Crossing, Costco and Rocky View County have worked very closely in the past year to complete approvals for the Costco store. The Development Permit has now been approved, with Costco scheduled to open their doors to their first Members Fall in 2025.

Over the course of the next year, our teams will be completing all remaining approvals and infrastructure for both on-site and off-site road networks. Work on the retail centre of the project will also continue, allowing the opening of a variety of retail uses requested by the surrounding community. Leasing has been very active on the site, and expect that our first stores will take possession in late 2025/ early 2026.

Our Leasing program officially relaunched the week of September 21. We are working with JLL’s retail team in both Calgary and Vancouver to secure the best quality mix of retailers to service the surrounding community and visitors to Bingham Crossing.
